Terms of use & policy

Bookings will only be valid on receipt of the full amount, which must be paid within 2 days after the booking reservation has been made. Failure will result in cancellation of the reservation without prior notification due to unpredictable load shedding schedules.

Full payment of the amount will constitute a legal contract between the guest/s and the resort. Guest/s accept liability to pay the full booking reservation and agree to abide by the rules of the resort.

Deposits payable in cash on arrival (all items must be handed in at the office for full refund value thereof):

• R100.00 per towel deposit — bring your own towels; towels are available for hire and showers only (not applicable for camping)
• R200.00 key deposit

All refunds will be handled strictly by head office in accordance with our cancellation policy. All cancellations will be accepted if provided in writing 30 days prior to the arrival date, stating the reason thereof. A cancellation fee will apply.

Refund value deductible before arrival date — a 5% handling fee will be deducted from all refund values:

No refunds whatsoever will be considered:

• Over the Easter weekend and December holidays (peak seasons)
• Should a guest check out before the departure date
• Should a guest be asked to leave our premises (breaking the rules)

Cancellation fees: should a cancellation be received for any reason whatsoever, you will forfeit 50% of all monies paid to date.

Important: the tents are made up according to bookings — please let us know before 16:00 of any changes. We reserve the right to hold or change any booking stands "subject to availability" without prior notice unless otherwise stated. No smoking in our tents — you will be fined on the spot. Not applicable with camping, and if camping please be sure to bring a braai stand, 3 point blue caravan plug and gazebo. We do not have any braaiers available for campers. No microwaves are provided.

• No loud noise & no music allowed
• No quad-bikes on the camping grounds
• No day visitors allowed
• Please do not remove any bedding from the tents — bring extra blankets if you get cold

Arrival time: 14:00 · Departure time: 10:00 (a penalty of R200.00 per hour per unit will be charged after departure time).

Please note: these are self-catering units, therefore you are responsible for cleaning. We will replace hired towels and bedding after every second day. Bring your own towels for the swimming pools. On the day of departure please leave the unit as it is — housekeeping staff will clean after you have checked out. We are a pet friendly resort (maximum of 3 small breed dogs allowed). Breach of the rules would result in your removal without refunds.

By full payment of the reservation I/we agree to and confirm having read the full terms and conditions and that I/we will not allow more persons to occupy the unit at any time than is provided for. I/we further indemnify claims that may arise due to fire, death, theft, damage of possessions, physical or psychological damage I/or my family may suffer or lose, or may incur however caused during our stay or anything not mentioned above.
